Anexia is an internationally active IT company with around 380 employees and over 100,000 active customers. With cloud-based solutions and scalable software, Anexia develops state-of-the-art digital platforms. In the CarryMeHome project, the company is contributing its expertise in IT infrastructure, scheduling technology and regionally adapted app development for more efficient, demand-oriented mobility planning.
ARTI-AUTONOMOUS ROBOT TECHNOLOGY GmbH
ARTI is a young company from Styria with a focus on software development for autonomous robots. With strong links to Graz University of Technology, the team contributes its experience from national and international robotics projects. In the CarryMeHome project, ARTI is concentrating on the further development of prototypes, “follow-me” functionalities and the use of bio-based materials for robotic platforms.
DIE KÜMMEREI
Kümmerei is a non-profit association based in Feldkirchen in Carinthia, founded in 2022 as part of a citizen participation initiative. The aim is to implement socially relevant projects for Feldkirchen and the central region of Carinthia - especially where political resources are lacking. The members work on a voluntary basis. Kümmerei contributes local expertise, networks and experience in sustainable regional development to the CarryMeHome project.
LEAN MANAGEMENT CONSULTING GmbH
LEAN MC from Raaba near Graz specializes in technical management and process optimization along the product creation process. The company contributes experience from R&D projects in the areas of sustainability and digitalization. In the CarryMeHome project, the focus is on requirements for semi-autonomous vehicles, acceptance analyses in rural regions and concepts for alternative mobility services.
MLG MICROMOBILITY AND LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT GmbH
MLG, based in Feistritz/Drau, specializes in the planning, organization and digitalization of demand-driven mobility in rural areas. It operates several on-demand bus systems in Carinthia. In the project, MLG analyzes mobility needs, plans physical and digital mobility hubs and develops strategies to improve environmental compatibility, user behavior and economic efficiency of regional mobility solutions.
CITY COUNCIL FELDKIRCHEN
The municipality of Feldkirchen is a regional project partner with a strong focus on sustainable development and citizen-oriented innovation. It contributes local experience, infrastructure and political support to the CarryMeHome project. The aim is to strengthen alternative forms of mobility for rural areas, improve quality of life and develop new, everyday solutions for the “last mile” together with citizens.
CITY COUNCIL WEIZ
Weiz is an innovative industrial city with a high commuter rate and ambitious goals in the area of sustainable mobility. In the CarryMeHome project, the city contributes existing infrastructure and practical experience - for example through WeizBike, e-car sharing or the shared cab WASTI. The aim is to further develop the local mobility strategy with a focus on the “last mile” and reducing motorized private transport.
TU GRAZ VSI
One of the core areas of the Institute for Vehicle Safety (VSI) at Graz University of Technology is road safety and accident research. Using state-of-the-art testing infrastructure and simulation software, the institute investigates accident risks and develops sustainable safety solutions. In the CarryMeHome project, the institute is contributing its expertise in accident scenario analysis, bio-based lightweight construction and safety concepts for alternative forms of mobility.
UNIVERSITY OF GRAZ- INSTITUTE OF ENVIROMENTAL SYSTEMS SCIENCE
The institute is a leader in systemic sustainability, mobility and transformation research. It identifies user needs, analyzes effects on the environment and behavior, develops usage scenarios and derives recommendations. The inter-university Center for Active Mobility (together with Graz University of Technology) complements the scientific perspective with a focus on active and combined forms of mobility.
VERKEHRSPLUS GmbH
verkehrplus is a company specializing in mobility, micromobility and climate-friendly urban planning with many years of experience in consulting, planning and implementing innovative transport projects. With sound analytical and strategic expertise, verkehrplus supports the development of sustainable mobility solutions in the CarryMeHome project through bold, holistic and implementation-oriented planning approaches.
WEITZER WOODSOLUTIONS
Weitzer Woodsolutions develops innovative lightweight construction solutions made of wood for mobility and mechanical engineering. The company replaces conventional materials such as steel or plastic with high-performance wooden components with a low carbon footprint. The CarryMeHome project focuses on sustainable, crash-proof wooden structures for “last mile” vehicles and material innovations for urban mobility applications.
W.E.I.Z. RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT gGmbH
W.E.I.Z. gGmbH is the largest Styrian innovation center outside of Graz and specializes in research in the fields of energy, sustainability and bio-based materials. In the CarryMeHome project, it contributes its expertise in the planning of vehicle solutions with wood hybrid materials and strengthens regional value creation in terms of climate-friendly mobility.
